A letter to our community
As a brand founded to promote equality and empowerment, we stand strongly against all forms of racism and resolutely with those seeking justice.
Creative Women was started with the dream of uniting cultures and empowering marginalized communities around the world. Our work has always been about elevating artisans, helping them to understand their worth and building the confidence to find their voice. Now, it's clear that communities here at home have seen little meaningful change against the same challenges. We as a nation still have a long way to go in dismantling our old ways and we at Creative Women will not remain silent.
Beyond making statements, now is the time for action. While we continue to support marginalized communities around the globe, we now realize the need to deepen those efforts here at home. We are donating to the United Negro College Fund and their mission to make a college education accessible to black and minority students. As our team continues to grow, we will also be committed to diversifying our workforce.
In the meantime, please join us in taking the time to read, watch and purchase content that elevates black voices, black stories, and black-owned businesses. We would also love to hear from you.
