Handwoven by skilled Ndebele women near Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, these sculptural baskets blur the line between functional storage and collectible art. Their distinctive rounded silhouette—reminiscent of a garlic bulb—brings warmth, texture, and quiet character to shelves, consoles, coffee tables, and kitchen styling.

Each basket is woven entirely by hand from sustainably harvested ilala palm using techniques passed from one generation to the next. The weaving process embraces subtle irregularities in shape and texture, making every piece beautifully unique. No two baskets are ever exactly alike.

Available in multiple sizes, these baskets are designed to be displayed individually or grouped together to create a layered, gallery-like statement. Their organic form and natural finish complement interiors ranging from modern organic to collected, lived-in spaces.

Please review the size diagram carefully before placing your order. All sizes are offered within this single listing, and the photography features a variety of sizes styled together to illustrate the collection. We recommend referencing the size guide to ensure you select the basket that best suits your space.

Due to the wide variety of beautiful organic shapes the baskets come in, it is a CONTOUR measurement, not a straight LxWxH. They are measured using a soft tape measure - the tape is run from the center of the base of the basket, around the curve of the bowl, then up the neck.

Why You'll Love It

More than a basket, each piece is a celebration of Zimbabwean craftsmanship. Its sculptural form, tactile weave, and organic imperfections bring an elevated sense of artistry to everyday styling—equally beautiful displayed empty, filled with dried botanicals, or arranged as part of a collected basket wall or tabletop vignette.
